■ Technology in the Pre-school Classroom, the first collaborative workshop for Early Childhood Education professionals in the new year's Mary Beers Professional Development Series, is 4:30-6:30 p.m. Jan. 29 at The Lexington School, 1050 Lane Allen Road.
The workshop features Susan Hart Bell, who is a researcher, author, and psychology professor at Georgetown College, and Andrea Peach, associate dean for graduate education and a longtime professor of instructional technology at Georgetown. In addition to theoretical and practical information, this session offers a two-hour training certificate recognized by the Division of Licensed Child Care of the Kentucky Cabinet for Families and Children.
