University of Kentucky: Urton Anderson, the Clark W. Thompson Jr. Professor in Accounting Education at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, has been named director of the Von Allmen School of Accountancy, part of the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics. He will begin July 1.
Community Trust Bank: Donna Angel has been promoted to Richmond market vice president.
Peoples Exchange Bank: David Roberts, James (Jimmy) Richardson and John Lankford have joined the Georgetown Advisory Board of Directors. Roberts has been a banker in Scott County since 1978 and has served as president of First National Bank, President and CEO of Citizens Bank and as the regional president of Town & Country Bank and Trust Co. Richardson is a retired field superintendent with Kentucky Utilities Co. and is president of Farm Bureau for 2013. Lankford is an attorney with Lankford & Lankford. In addition to Roberts, Richardson and Lankford, the other local advisory board members include Jim Bevins, Brad Green and Michael Raymond.
Kentucky State Fair Board: Amanda Storment has been named chief of staff in addition to her role as vice president of public relations and media.
Kentucky Highlands Investment Corporation: Bill Schutters, an entrepreneur, economic developer and business consultant, has been named director for KHIC's business accelerator.
The Jewish Federation of the Bluegrass: Michael J. Grossman, general counsel and executive vice president with Lexington's Clark Material Handling Co., has been named president.
Columbia Gas of Kentucky: Gayle Roberts Walters has been named damage prevention coordinator.
Kentucky Department of Agriculture: Dr. Bradley A. Keough of Franklin County has been named deputy state veterinarian. Keough has 15 years of experience in veterinary medicine and more than 30 years of experience in the United States military.
Sheabel Pet Care Center: Dr. Matt Perza has joined the practice as a veterinarian. His areas of interest include behavorial medicine and nutrition.
