■ The University of Kentucky College of Law and the Law Alumni Association has honored two long-time Frost Brown Todd attorneys and UK graduates, Judge James Park Jr. and Sheryl G. Snyder. Judge Park was inducted into the Hall of Fame, the highest honor in the College of Law; Snyder received the Professional Achievement award for his 40-year career as an appellate lawyer and commercial litigator.
■ Zachary Moore, vice president at Farmers Bank & Capital Trust Co. has graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. Moore served as president of the Class of 2013. This three-year program provides courses covering all aspects of banking, economics and related subjects. Students traveled from 20 states and Mexico to participate in this session.
■ DelCotto Law Group member Laura Day DelCotto has been named a recipient of the University of Kentucky College of Law Professional Achievement Alumni Award, honoring graduates who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to the practice of law and service to the community.
DelCotto graduated from UK College of Law in 1986 and is the founding member of DelCotto Law Group, a boutique law firm with offices in Lexington, Danville, Frankfort and Somerset.
■ Carrie Gilbert of Mercer County, William Busby of Fayette County, and Reese Koffler-Stanfield of Scott County have been named members of Class X of the Kentucky Agricultural Leadership Program, a two-year program designed for young agricultural producers and agribusiness individuals from Kentucky Tennessee. Gilbert is the racing, stallion and sales coordinator for Flaxman Holdings Limited in Lexington; Busby works for Bluegrass Stockyards; and Koffler-Stanfield is the owner of Maplecrest Farm of Lexington.
The program consists of 10 domestic seminars focused on agriculture, as well as sessions on communication, leadership and management. Class members will visit a variety of Kentucky farms and agribusinesses, and will travel domestically and internationally to learn about agriculture in other settings.
