Lexington Theological Seminary: Karen Wagers has been named chief financial officer. She is a 1987 graduate of the University of Kentucky, a member of the Kentucky Society of CPAs and holds membership in the Society of Human Resource Management. Most recently she served as the director of administration for Landrum & Shouse.
MESA Medical Group: Jessica Green has been promoted to vice president of finance, responsible for planning, monitoring and reporting of financial operations while overseeing the accounting department.
Gess Mattingly & Atchison: Ross T. Ewing and Stefan J. Bing have joined the firm as associates. Ewing, formerly with Ross Ewing LLC, practices in the areas of family law, estate planning and probate. Bing is a former law clerk to Deputy Chief Justice Mary C. Noble of the Kentucky Supreme Court. His primary practice areas include commercial and civil litigation, probate and appellate litigation.
The Burley Tobacco Growers Cooperative Association: Jeff Vice has been named tobacco specialist, responsible for the grading and purchasing of burley tobacco. Vice comes to BTGCA after retiring from Philip Morris USA/Altria. He lives in Flemingsburg and maintains a family farm in Eastern Kentucky.
Kentucky Mansions Preservation Foundation: The following have been elected officers and new board members of the organization, which operates the Mary Todd Lincoln House and is dedicated to protecting and promoting historic properties: Dee Dee Moran, chairman; Ann Todd Dupree, vice-chairman; Todd Renner, treasurer; Trudy Burkhard, recording secretary; Dr. Priscilla Lynd, membership chair. New directors are Tina Sheets and Rachel Walsh. Directors still completing terms on the board are Bill Farmer, Dan Graves, Bill Howell, Bill Johnston, Dr. James Klotter, Rob Magrish and Kent Whitworth.
McCarthy Strategic Solutions: Jeff Busick, former deputy general counsel and budget adviser to Kentucky's office of the senate president and members of the majority caucus, has joined the Frankfort-based government relations firms. For the past two years, Busick has served as Of Counsel in the Lexington office of the law firm Jackson Kelly.
