The Kentucky Master Bartending Program — an introductory training program for aspiring bartenders and those just getting started in bartending — will begin Jan. 7 and monthly thereafter at The Center for Rural Development in Somerset. Classes will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays during each four-week session. During the program, students will receive hands-on experience working with Shane Miller, a professional bartender and business owner, to master the art of mixing drinks, as well as organizational and customer service skills.
As the capstone for the Kentucky Master Bartending Program, The Center has arranged for an instructor with the state of Kentucky Server Training in Alcohol Regulations to provide a four-hour certification class for each cohort group that completes the program. An additional fee is required for the S.T.A.R. certification.
The registration cost for the four-week Kentucky Master Bartending Program is $350 per student. The cost of the program training plus the four-hour S.T.A.R. certification class is $385 per student. Students can opt to enroll only in the S.T.A.R. certification class at a cost of $49.
For more info, or to register for upcoming classes, contact Robyn Phillips at (606) 677-6000 or email email@example.com. Visit The Center's website at Centertech.com to register online.
