Farmers Capital Bank Corp.: Judy Worth has been appointed to the board of directors. Worth is a full-time, Lexington-based consultant and is co-owner of Verble, Worth & Verble, and is a partner in Lean Transformations Group.
Traditional Bancorp.: Anthony C. Baker of Mt. Sterling, vice president and chief operations officer for Traditional Bank, has been named to the board of directors.
Community Trust Bank: Carl Tritschler has been promoted to senior vice president and marketing director.
Bank of the Bluegrass & Trust Co.: Tim Franklin, financial services manager, has been promoted to vice president.
KentuckyOne Health: Lisa A. Shannon has been named chief operating officer of the largest health system in the Commonwealth. Shannon will begin her new role on July 21. She most recently worked as COO of Spectrum Health Hospitals in Michigan.
Stites & Harbison: Alexander Gibson has joined the firm's Louisville office in the Torts and Insurance Practice Service Group. His practice includes product liability litigation, as well as general business litigation.

Pierce W. Hamblin of Landrum & Shouse has been elected president of the association for 2014-2015.
Sonitrol Corp.: Jeremy Bates, general manager of Sonitrol of Lexington, has been elected president of the company's national dealers association.
Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government: David Holmes, former city law commissioner, has been named commissioner of the Department of Environmental Quality and Public Works. Holmes will begin work in June.
