■ The University of Kentucky College of Social Work has inducted three new members into its Hall of Fame. This year's inductees are: Elizabeth Croney, president of KVC Behavioral Health Services Kentucky; Teresa James, commissioner of Kentucky's Department for Community Based Services; and Carl Smith, Army Medical Department Center and School as branch chief of the Combat and Operational Stress Control Training Branch for the Brooke Army Medical Department Center in Texas.

■ Scott Shinn, president and CEO of Sustainment Solutions Inc. is a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2014 Award for South Central Ohio & Kentucky. Ernst & Young recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in the areas of innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Award winners will be announced on June 19 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Cincinnati. This is will be the second entrepreneurship recognition for Shinn. In 2013, he was awarded the Start-Up Business Entrepreneur of the Year for the Southeastern region of Kentucky presented by the Committee on Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award. In addition, SSI received the Blue Ribbon - Top 100 Small Businesses in
America presented by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce earlier this year. SSI is a veteran-owned security integrator with a focus on construction, installation, maintenance and training worldwide.
■ Bill Garmer, a partner with the law firm Garmer & Prather, has been selected to be inducted into the University of Kentucky College of Law Hall of Fame, the highest honor presented jointly by the college and the University of Kentucky College of Law Alumni Association. Garmer and other 2014 inductees will be honored in June at an Alumni Reception in conjunction with the Kentucky Bar Association Annual convention.
■ ProLift Industrial Equipment has received Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A.'s highest dealership honor, the President's Award for 2013. ProLift Industrial Equipment is one of 15 recipients of this award and was selected from TMHU's network of 70 dealers and 220 dealership locations in the United States and Canada.
ProLift Industrial Equipment was recognized for demonstrating excellence in parts, service, equipment sales, customer satisfaction and overall dealership operations. This is the 20th time ProLift Industrial Equipment has been awarded the President's Award and its predecessor the Quality Dealer Award.
ProLift has dealerships in Lexington and Erlanger, Ky., Evansville and Indianapolis, Ind., and West Chester and Dayton, Ohio.
