■ Laura Day DelCotto, founding member of DelCotto Law Group, has been recognized by the 2015 Super Lawyers as a Top 25 attorney among all female attorneys in Kentucky and as a Top 50 attorney for all attorneys in the state.
Amelia Martin Adams, a DelCotto Law Group attorney, has received the 2014 Susan R. Anderson Award from the Junior League of Lexington for her interest, contributions, and promotion of the historic Bodley-Bullock House in Gratz Park.
DelCotto Law Group's registered paralegal Heather L. Purnell has been elected president of the Greater Lexington Paralegal Association for 2015. Purnell also received the Donald E. Eppler Commitment Award for her enthusiasm and commitment to the group and the paralegal profession.
■ Forcht Bank has received a five-star superior rating from Florida-based Bauer Financial, an independent bank rating and research firm. Forcht Bank has received the independent agency's highest rating for two consecutive quarters.
■ Mary Hanley, a nurse's aide at Cambridge Place in Lexington for 28 years, received the Sageser Award from the Bluegrass Task Force for Long Term Care. The Sageser Award is given annually to a nurse's aide working in a long-term care facility. Hanley received a cash prize and a crystal bowl. A traveling plaque of winners' names will be placed in Cambridge Place until next year.
■ Mark J. Hinkel, partner at Landrum & Shouse, has been named Lawyer of the Year 2014-15 for Lexington Workers' Compensation Law - Employers by the Best Lawyers in America.
