■ Lexington Theological Seminary is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year with many sesquicentennial celebrations. Highlights include a series of webinars throughout the year; a symposium on flourishing in ministry in May; a community golf scramble in June; and homecoming in October.
■ Engineered Heating and Air, 916 Floyd Drive, has earned the service industry's Angie's List Super Service Award, reflecting an exemplary year of service provided to members of the consumer review service in 2014. Only about five percent of heating and air companies in Central Kentucky earn the award each year.
■ Baptist Health Lexington has attained Magnet recognition as part of the American Nurses Credentialing Center Magnet Recognition Program. This voluntary credentialing program for hospitals recognizes excellence in nursing. This credential is the highest honor an organization can receive for professional nursing practice. This latest recognition marks the third time Baptist Health Lexington has been recognized by the Magnet Recognition Program.
