National Provisions, the eatery on National and Walton in Lexington, is expanding again. On Thursday, it opened a European-style market next to its brasserie, boulangerie and beer hall.
Andrea Sims, who co-owns National Provisions and Table Three Ten with Krim Boughalem, said they have added a full butchery, vegetables, hot and cold prepared foods, charcuterie, cheeses and dry goods, with more on the way.
"Dairy is just starting to come in. In a couple of weeks we'll add a fishmonger, oyster bar and tapas," Sims said Friday. Offerings such as lamb, rabbit, sausage, chorizo and whole ducks, fava beans, artichokes and fiddlehead ferns have come from local producers like Marksbury Farm as well as from out-of-state suppliers.
