The Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has selected three people to be inducted into the chapter's Gold and Silver Circles for 2015.
The induction was announced in a release from the academy, which presents the regional Emmy awards.
Nick Clooney and Ferrell Wellman are Gold Circle honorees, and Rob Bromley is being inducted into the Silver Circle.
Clooney has worked as a reporter, news anchor, managing editor, news director, game show host, host of several local TV talk-variety shows, and host of a national television show.
Ferrell Wellman, a broadcast journalist, was for 18 years the capital bureau chief for WAVE-TV in Louisville. The release said that hundreds of Wellman's students now work as reporters, videographers and news producers for stations across the country.
Bromley came to work at WKYT-TV in Lexington in 1977 and is still covering sports.
The 2015 Silver and Gold Circle honorees will be recognized during the Ohio Valley Chapter's 51st Annual Regional Emmy Awards gala to be held July 25th at Keeneland.
