■ Old National Bank has entered the Lexington market by opening an office at 249 East Main Street. Scott Cvengros has joined the team as Old National's Central Kentucky market president and will expand the Old National Bank brand by establishing a full-service commercial banking presence. Old National has more than 160 banking centers in more than 100 communities throughout Kentucky, Indiana and Michigan.
Before joining Old National, Cvengros worked with BB&T for 26 years, holding positions of senior credit officer, regional corporate banker and president and chief credit officer. He is a 1985 graduate the University of Kentucky, where he received a bachelor's degree in finance and later attended the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
■ Expanding to the West Coast, Dinsmore & Shohl has merged with Leventhal Law, a litigation- focused law firm in San Diego. The merger became effective Nov. 1. Based in San Diego, Leventhal Law represents Fortune 250 corporations, emerging companies and high-profile individuals. It was founded in 2012 by Joe Leventhal, a former White House attorney who served as deputy assistant to the vice president.
