A tractor-trailer driver died in a crash on Interstate 75 in Laurel County on Saturday.
Stanley Young, 40, of Booneville was driving a Peterbilt truck that was pulling an empty tanker southbound on I-75 when he went off the right shoulder of the road about 2 miles south of London at 11:42 a.m., according to a news release from the Laurel County Sheriff's Department.
The truck went across an embankment, hit a road sign and stopped against a tree. Young was pronounced dead at the scene.
