A Rockcastle County man was killed in a single-vehicle wreck early Sunday, according to a news release from the state police Vehicle Enforcement section.
Cody R. Delph, 20, of Mount Vernon was driving a 1998 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck that ran off the road, hit an embankment and overturned.
Delph was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown out of the truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Drugs, alcohol and cellphone use are suspected factors in the crash, according to the news release.
