A man who was released from the Fayette County jail on a pass Monday turned himself in to the jail later that night, hours after he was supposed to be back.
Moses Fielding, 23, who was serving time for probation violation, theft by deception and receiving stolen property, "failed to return from a court-ordered pass" at 4 p.m. Monday, according to a news release from the jail. He turned himself in about 10:30 p.m.
Fielding received a pass to leave the jail at 1 p.m. for a job interview, said Sgt. Jennifer L. Taylor. He was supposed to be back by 4 p.m.
He was scheduled to be released from jail in May 2013, she said. That's likely to change since he has been charged with escape.
