A manager working alone was robbed at gunpoint Sunday while closing the Georgetown Dairy Queen for the night.
The man heard a loud knock at the back door, and when he unlocked the door, the robber opened it, pointed a gun at him and demanded money from the safe, said Capt. Robert Swanigan of the Georgetown Police Department.
The manager complied, emptying the safe into a bag provided by the gunman, Swanigan said.
The robber made the manager lie face-down on the floor at the back of the restaurant, then fled.
He wore black pants and jacket, aviator sunglasses and had a white T-shirt wrapped around his face.
Anyone with information should contact Georgetown police.
