Shed light on violence
The Take Back the Night rally and vigil, designed to "illuminate the darkness surrounding victims of violence," starts at 7 p.m., with groups gathering at the Patterson Office Tower plaza at the University of Kentucky, the parking lot of Third Street Stuff on Limestone, and Thoroughbred Park at the intersection of Midland Avenue and Main Street for marches that lead everyone to Courthouse Plaza downtown for a 7:30 rally. Baseball: The boysof summer are back
The 2013 Major League Baseball season opens this year with Texas facing Houston, who switches from the National League to the AL this year. Most other teams, including the Reds, will open the following day, April Fools' Day. Coincidence?
