Laurel County sheriff's deputies investigating a traffic crash arrested two men for theft and receiving stolen property.
The crash occurred early Thursday morning on the Hal Rogers Parkway about five miles east of London.
According to deputies, two men in a white Ford Expedition were towing a trailer when it apparently broke loose from the hitch and rolled into a ditch.
Deputies said the two men in the vehicle said they had bought the trailer for $100 on Craigslist. The officers became suspicious, however, because the trailer looked new.

Further investigation revealed that the trailer was a 2013 model missing from the HoneyBaked Ham Co. in Somerset. It was valued at $4,000, according to the sheriff's office.
The Expedition's driver, Cody L. Crowe, 19, of Shopville, was charged with theft, according to the sheriff's office. A passenger, John Caudill, 20, also of Shopville, was charged with receiving stolen property valued at less than $10,000.
