Armed robbers held up two Lexington gas stations overnight, police said Wednesday morning.
The first robbery occurred about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, when two men armed with silver handguns took an undisclosed amount of cash from a clerk at the Circle K station at 3470 Richmond Road, police Lt. Chris Brackel said.
Both robbers were wearing blue jeans and hoodies, one with "Kentucky" on the front, Van Brackel said.
About 4:40 a.m. Wednesday, a man armed with a knife robbed the Shell Station at Versailles Road and Alexandria Drive, according to police.
