A Williamsburg man died Saturday after a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 75, a release from Laurel County Sheriff John Root's office said.
M. Lincoln Patrick, 69, was pronounced dead at the scene about five miles south of London.
Patrick was driving a tan-colored Chevrolet Tahoe south in the passing lane, when, for an unknown reason, the vehicle swerved sharply to the right lane, then back to the left lane. The vehicle rolled four or five times before coming to a rest against a bridge structure and facing north off the passing lane, the release said.
The southbound lanes of I-75 were closed for about 90 minutes. The accident happened shortly before 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
