Francisco's Farm Invitational Fine Arts & Craft Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Midway College, 512 East Stephens Street, Midway. The Scenes of Gainesborough: Act II silent auction will debut at a sneak preview party from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Headley-Whitney Museum, 4435 Old Frankfort Pike, Lexington. Artists donated original paintings and photographs to benefit the Woodford Humane Society. The exhibit will remain on display through July 13, and the silent auction will close July 19 at the Freedom Fest Celebration. Musicians Bill and Leslie Penn will entertain. The Little Garden Club will host A Blue Ribbon Day at 9 a.m. June 25 at Welcome Hall, Clifton Road. At 10 a.m., garden designer Jon Carloftis will discuss his new book, Hidden Gardens of Kentucky. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the restoration and preservation of The Little House, 247 Lexington Street.
