Singer Debby Boone, daughter-in-law of the late beloved Kentucky entertainer Rosemary Clooney, will take the stage at Frankfort's Grand Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Saturday to present Reflections of Rosemary.
Boone is best known for her 1977 hit You Light Up My Life and for being a daughter of entertainer Pat Boone. She is married to Gabriel Ferrer, a son of actor José Ferrer and Rosemary Clooney.
In 2005, Boone recorded Reflections of Rosemary on Concord Records, Rosemary's last record label. Among the songs are Irving Berlin's classic Blue Skies, a song that Rosemary often sang to Boone's first son, Jordan, Rosemary's first grandchild. Another is Time After Time, which was recorded by trumpeter/vocalist Chet Baker, an artist admired by both Boone and Clooney.
The Grand Theatre is in downtown Frankfort. Ticket prices for the show range from $30 to $55 and are available online at Grandtheatrefrankfort.org, or by calling the box office weekdays between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at (502) 352-7469.
