Asbury students win at science competition
Three Asbury University seniors won awards at the annual Kentucky Academy of Sciences conference, held at Murray State University in November. Julianne Wyrick won first place in the oral presentation competition in the agricultural sciences category. Demetria Todd took second place in the undergraduate poster presentation competition in the ecology and environmental science category. And Evelyn Robuck placed third in the undergraduate poster presentation competition in the physiology and biochemistry category.
'A Christmas Carol' at Asbury Seminary

A new musical version of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol will be performed Friday through Sunday at the McKenna Chapel at Asbury Seminary in Wilmore. Friday and Saturday shows are at 7 p.m., and the Sunday matinee is at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students. Buy tickets online at Bluegrassarts.org or call (859) 881-8247.
