Two requests for assistance to pay electric bills were submitted by Beth Myers, a case manager at Mary Todd Elementary Family Resource Center.
A single mother of two needs $109.36 to pay her electric bill. Myers is working with her to obtain child care and reliable transportation so she can consistently work at her job with the Fayette County Public Schools system.
Her income is from her earnings, food stamps and child support, which is sporadic. Once the problems are solved she will be able to manage.
