Gifts for the little ones
Aaniyah Frye, above, and every child who attended the annual Mother to Mother of Lexington Christmas party Dec. 9 at Woodland Christian Church received a Skippyjon Jones storybook and a coordinated stuffed animal from Santa. The gifts were donated by the Bluegrass Reading Council of the Kentucky Reading Association and the Collaborative Center for Literacy Development at the University of Kentucky. Mother to Mother of Lexington is a non-profit organization whose purpose is "building intentional friendships across economic and racial barriers in a ministry of reconciliation."
