Paul Miller Autogroup and the Bluegrass Mustang Club will host the Annual Dads & Grads Show from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at the Paul Miller Auto Outlet, 974 Beasley Street. Spectator admission is free.
The event is open to all makes and models of any car or truck. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the registration fee is $20 per vehicle. Judging starts at noon and awards will be presented at 3 p.m.
Proceeds from this year's event will benefit The Kentucky Children's Hospital, Central Kentucky Riding for Hope and the Mission Lexington Medical and Dental Clinic.

Lexington-Fayette Urban County Human Rights Commission will hold its "50 Years of Progress! 50 Years of Excellence" anniversary dinner and awards event at 6 p.m. June 20 at The Grand Reserve.
The keynote speaker will be Kim Keenan, general counsel of the NAACP. Frank X Walker, Kentucky's poet laureate, will also be a featured performer.
There will be three Outstanding Achievement in Human Rights
Awards presented during the event. There will be performances by the Lexington Chinese School, Sisters of the Sacred Drum, and Panamanian Traditional Dancers.

Auction for dinner with UK Coach Stoops
A stay at WinStar Farm featuring dinner with University of Kentucky head football coach Mark Stoops will be auctioned to the highest bidder at the 10th annual Night of the Stars, a fundraiser for Central Kentucky Riding for Hope, on June 15 at the Keeneland Entertainment Center in Lexington.
CKRH is a 32-year-old program based at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington that offers a variety of equine-assisted activities and therapies for people of all ages.
"Black & White Gala" is the theme of this year's Night of the Stars, which includes cocktails, dinner and silent and live auctions. The event begins at 6 p.m. and individual tickets are $125.
People who cannot attend the event but want to bid on items in the live auction may do so by submitting their bid and credit card information via email or phone to Vickie Parker at CKRH at firstname.lastname@example.org or (859) 231-7066. The deadline to register is 4 p.m. Thursday.
Midsummer Night's Run sign-ups open
Online registration is underway for the 2013 A Midsummer Night's Run scheduled for Aug. 10 in downtown Lexington. Online registration will continue until midnight Aug. 9 at BaptistHealthLexington.com.
Events begin with the One-Mile Fun Walk/Run at 6 p.m., followed at 6:35 p.m. by the The Fastest Kid in Town, a series of sprints for children ages 1 through 12. The main event, the 5K Race, will get underway at 8:30 p.m.

The Child Nutrition division of Fayette County Public Schools will serve free lunches most weekdays, June 3 through Aug. 2 (excluding July 4).
