County designated 'Work Ready Community'
Woodford County has recently been reaccredited as a Work Ready Community by the Kentucky Workforce Investment Board. This designation is based on Woodford meeting the established criteria for Work Ready status and a commitment to advancing economic and work force development. Two years ago, Woodford County was the first county in Kentucky to have been designated as a Work Ready Community.
Questions, comments and concerns can be directed to Don Vizi, executive director of the Woodford County Chamber of Commerce, at (859) 873-5122.
