Woman's Club members honored at luncheon
The Woodford County Woman's Club held its Federation Day Luncheon at Equestrian Woods on May 7. Peggy Barnes,  immediate past president of the General Federation of Women's Clubs Kentucky, spoke about her experiences and the changes in the state club during her term. Lunch was followed by presentation of club awards. Honorees and  others were, from left, Cynthia Fordon, five-year membership and meritorious service; Carol Duffy, five-year membership;  Ellen Hellard, meritorious service; Sophia Bowman, lifetime  achievement; Jane Pryor, 40-year membership; Marilyn  Feeback,  meritorious service, Delia Spurgeon, five-year  membership; Sharon Tippett, president, Woodford County Woman's Club; Peggy Barnes; Lucy Amburgey, Woodford County club's American Home Department president; Susan Breaden, five-year membership and woman of the year; Cathy Fryman, rookie of the year; and Dianne Crouch, five-year membership and woman of the year.
