Dog Paddle. 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 6. Woodland Aquatic Center, Lexington. Bring your dog for the last swim of the season. (Humans will not be allowed to swim.) $10 per dog with a limit of two people and $5 per person after the limit. All dogs must have a 2012 or 2013 rabies tag or proof of vaccination. Want to volunteer? You will receive a free Dog Paddle T-shirt and paid admission for one dog. (Bring your dog before or after your volunteer time, unless you have someone who can watch your dog while you're working.) Volunteer shifts will be in approximately 2 hour increments, beginning a half hour before the event. Jobs include checking rabies tags, sitting at a waiver/sign in table; policing the exit gate so there are no escapes; and helping to monitor the pool area (including helping to keep people out of the pool.)
