A public meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Cardinal Valley Elementary School to discuss a sewer improvement project slated for the Kilrush Drive and New Circle Road area.
Lexington's Division of Water Quality will construct a 2-million-gallon wet weather storage facility on city-owned property at 1104 Kilrush Drive. The tank will hold excess water flow caused by significant rain and will stem the introduction of groundwater and rainwater into the city's sewers until it can be safely released.
This meeting will also include details about the Wolf Run Wet Weather Storage project, which is expected to cost $7 million.
