Boy Scout helps out at Jouett House
Boy Scout Keegan Elvidge, left, of Troop 400, sponsored by Elkhorn Creek Baptist Church, spent several hours working at the Jack Jouett House Historic Site on April 12 to fulfill the service hours requirement for his Citizenship in the Community Merit Badge. Keegan removed leaves and branches from the site's cemetery, disposed of brush piles and removed invasive plants from one of the site's natural springs. He was assisted by his father, Kevin Elvidge.
