Native tree walk at Jouett House is Saturday
Kentucky Witness Trees, a guided tour of the Native Tree Walk, will be presented at the Jack Jouett House Historic Site at 2 p.m. Saturday. University of Kentucky Professor and Arboriculture Specialist William Fountain will describe the trees of the early Kentucky landscape that were witness to the settlement of the frontier. This year's event will focus on trees not discussed during last year's dedication. Admission is free. This is a rain-or-shine event. Dementia workshop Thursday in Midway
Learn how to be a best friend to a family member or friend with dementia at a workshop from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at The Homeplace, 671 East Stephens Street, Midway.
