The following young men have earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank a Boy Scout may attain:
■ Cameron Sellers, 18, is a senior at Scott County High School and a member of Troop No. 124. He is the son of Lauren and Ron Sellers of Stamping Ground. Cameron's Eagle service project was to organize and run an educational DVD drive and build two bookcases to house the donated videos for Elizabeth's Place in Georgetown. Elizabeth's Place houses women and children who are escaping abusive relationships. Cameron received his Eagle Award on Dec. 16, 2014, and had his Eagle Court of Honor on May 1.
■ Justin D. Rowe, 15, a sophomore at Prestonsburg High School, is a member of Troop No. 802 sponsored by Fitchpatrick Freewill Church. His is the son of Jack Rowe Jr. of Prestonsburg. Justin's Eagle service project was to rehabilitate a neighborhood playground that had been damaged by flooding. Justin received his Eagle Award on Dec. 22, 2014.
