Calling all Vietnam vets for photo shoot Saturday
Winchester will honor Vietnam War veterans at 10 a.m. Saturday with a photograph taken in front of the Clark County Courthouse. Anyone from Clark County who served in the Vietnam War era, who was born, raised or moved to Clark County, or those from Clark County who moved to other places, or were inducted into the military during the Vietnam War from other places may participate.
A few weeks after the photograph is taken, each veteran will be mailed a copy of it. Those who are unable to attend the Aug. 8 photo shoot may attend a makeup event at 10 a.m. Aug. 22. At both events, refreshments will be provided by the Hart Chapter of The Daughters of the American Revolution.
