Berea Celtic Festival set for this weekend
The Berea Celtic Festival will be Friday through Sunday featuring the following events:
Friday, 6:30 p.m.: Free Celtic open air concert with Belles of the Bluegrass at Memorial Park, Jefferson Street.
Friday, 8 p.m.: Jigs, reels and contra dance featuring caller Joe Wilkie and The Celtic All Star Band at Russel Acton Folk Center. Admission: $7 adults, $4 students and kids.

Saturday, 11 a.m.: John Skelton's Irish puppet show for ages 3-7 at Madison County Library, Berea.
Saturday: Citywide sessions and workshops beginning at 12:30 p.m.; includes Martin McCann and Turlach Boylan from Belfast, Northern Ireland and Vincent Fogarty, Cork, Ireland.
Saturday, 8 p.m.: Celtic Concert at Russel Acton Folk Center with: Four Leaf Peat (Knoxville), Cloiggeann (Louisville), traditional Irish music from Cincinnati, and John Skelton (London, England/Mercer County) Admission: $15.
Sunday, 10:30 a.m.: Celtic-inspired service at Union Church. Music by Irish harpist Jeni Balcom.
