Police have filed manslaughter charges against a Lexington man involved in a traffic fatality.
Kimiko Lavell Ogle, 29, was arrested Dec. 26 on a charge of second-degree manslaughter.
Police said Ogle was driving the wrong way at Lane Allen and Harrodsburg roads a little after 9 p.m. Sept. 11 when his vehicle collided with a Chevrolet head on, Lexington police Lt. Doug Pape said. The driver of the Chevrolet, Brian D. Yanko, 49, died Sept. 16 from his injuries, Pape said.
Toxicology results from the Kentucky State Police crime lab showed that Ogle had a blood alcohol level of .24, according to court records. That's three times the level at which a driver is legally considered drunk.

Ogle waived his formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty Monday in Fayette District Court. His next court appearance is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Jan. 7. He is being held in Fayette County jail.
