Two drivers involved in a Monday night collision between an ambulance and a passenger car have been discharged from University of Kentucky Hospital, a spokeswoman said.
Callalou Roe, 58, the ambulance driver, and Rebecca M. Rogers, 27, of Irvine, the driver of a 2003 Hyundai Sonata, were both released from UK Hospital.
The car collided with the Morgan County ambulance at North Broadway and New Circle Road, Lexington police said. The collision knocked the ambulance on its side.
The ambulance was taking a patient to St. Joseph Hospital. Police did not release that person's name but said Monday night that the person was in critical but stable condition at UK.
Never miss a local story.
A child riding in the car and an emergency medical technician who was riding in the back of the ambulance were also taken to UK with lesser injuries.
