Three women were struck by a car at West High Street and Broadway early Sunday, and one remained in serious condition Sunday night.
The injuries occurred after a car, which was traveling westbound on High Street, ran a red light on Broadway and struck a southbound car. The southbound car then hit three women standing in a parking lot at High and Broadway, said Lexington police Lt. Chris Van Brackel.
One of the women, Rachel Nestor, was in serious condition at University of Kentucky Hospital Sunday night, a hospital spokeswoman said. The other two were treated and released from the hospital.
