Major traffic impact
Rotating one-lane closures will occur on West Main Street from Martin Luther King Boulevard to Broadway from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 to 10 p.m. through Aug. 20. Rotating one-lane closures also also occur on West Vine Street from Broadway to Limestone from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 6 to 10 p.m. through Aug. 20.
Beginning at 9 a.m. Monday the southbound right lane of South Broadway will be blocked between West High Street and West Vine Street 24 hours a day while storm sewers are being upgraded.

A portion of northbound and southbound Interstate 75 in Scott County will be reduced to one and/or two lanes through Wednesday for milling and patching. The work hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Both lanes of Ky. 1966/Military Pike are closed from 0.00 mile point to 0.9 mile point, and work is expected to start soon to repair the road and continue through Sept. 15.
North Mill Street will be blocked between West Short Street and West Main Street on Monday for pavement work.
The right curb lane of southbound (inner loop) Man o' War Boulevard will be blocked between Helmsdale Place and Mapleleaf Drive through Friday.
Fourth of July celebration
Some congestion is possible in downtown Lexington on Wednesday during the Great American Pie Contest & Ice Cream Social, which begins at noon in the Fifth Third Pavilion of Cheapside Park. Motorists should use caution.
The Fourth of July Festival in downtown Lexington on Saturday will close the following streets from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.: Main Street from Midland Avenue to Mill Street, Short Street from Mill Street to Martin Luther King Boulevard, Limestone from Street to Barr Street, Upper Street from Church to Vine Street, Esplanade from Main to Short Street, Quality Street from Main to Water Street.
The following streets will be closed from 7 to 11 a.m.: Vine Street from Broadway to Midland Avenue, Short Street from Martin Luther King Boulevard to Eastern Avenue, Limestone from High to Vine Street, Mill Street from Short to High Street, Rose Street from High to Short Street, Martin Luther King Boulevard from High to Short Street.
Closed from noon to 3 p.m.: Main Street from Mill to Broadway, Midland Avenue from East Third Street to Main Street.
Closed at various times: Rose Street will be closed from 1:30 to 4 p.m.; Quality Street, Esplanade and Martin Luther King Boulevard will be closed from 2 to 5 p.m.; Jefferson Street will be closed from 8 p.m. to midnight; Cox Street will be closed at Manchester from 8 to 11 p.m.; Main Street will be closed from Buchanan to Newtown Pike, from 9:50 to 10:30 p.m.
Lane closures will take place at Man o' War Boulevard and Liberty/Todds Road to allow for the rebuilding of that intersection. Lanes have been reduced to one through lane in each direction on Liberty and Todds roads.
Cox Street is closed at Main Street and is expected to reopen Sept. 1 as Newtown Pike.
