Some traffic congestion could occur Tuesday before and after the 9 p.m. basketball game between the University of Kentucky and Vanderbilt at Rupp Arena. Motorists should use caution and watch for pedestrians crossing the streets.
SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC IMPACT
The left turn lane and possibly the inside through lane of the outer loop of New Circle Road will be blocked at Family Circle from Monday through Wednesday to install water service.
The center turn lane and both inside travel lanes on North Broadway will be blocked from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. between West Loudon Avenue and Gerardi Road from Monday through March 11 for utility work.
The right inbound lane of South Broadway will be blocked at West Main Street on Monday for cable work.
The outbound right lane of West Main Street will be blocked at Newtown Pike from Monday through Friday for overhead cable work.
The parking and right through lane of East Maxwell Street will be blocked between Rose Street and Woodland Avenue through March 7 to rebuild the curb and sidewalk. There will be no blockage during rush hours.
The right southbound lane of Sir Barton Way will be blocked between Winchester Road and Old Rosebud Road through March 31 while streetlights and other infrastructure are installed.
MODERATE TRAFFIC IMPACT
The sidewalk and right lane of East Main Street will be blocked between Elm Tree Lane and DeWeese Street through March 18 for work on the streetscape project.
DeWeese Street will be closed between East Main Street and East Short Street through Friday for streetscape work.
The southbound lane of Georgian Way will be narrowed between Lane Allen Road and Williamsburg Road through Thursday for sewer work.
The westbound lane of Athenia Drive will be blocked between Georgian Way and Williamsburg Road from Tuesday through March 8 for sewer work.
