R.J. Corman Railroad Co. will be repairing several railroad crossings in Fayette County this week, and the work will affect the following roads:
■ Old Paris Pike will be closed between Strawberry Fields and Paris Pike from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday through Oct. 27.

■ Briar Hill Road will be closed near Bryan Station Road through 4 p.m. Wednesday.
There will be double lane closures on northbound and southbound Interstate 75 from 7 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday and 7 p.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday to complete strip patching from mile points 100 and 106. Motorists will be allowed to travel in the left (fast) lanes and should use caution.
SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC IMPACT
One lane at a time on East High Street will be closed between Kentucky and South Hanover avenues through Oct. 31 to attach new power lines and detach old lines.
One lane at a time of South Broadway will be blocked at Chair Avenue on Monday for utility work.
The curb lanes of South Limestone will be blocked in both directions between Virginia and Gazette avenues through Friday to install sidewalks and ramps.
One lane at a time of West Maxwell Street will be blocked between South Mill and South Upper streets through Friday for utility work.
MODERATE TRAFFIC IMPACT
The following streets will be blocked one lane at a time through Friday for milling and paving:
■ Cahill Drive between Rebmann Lane and the end of the street.
■ Ferguson Road between Jane and anderson streets.
■ Hickory Street between Charles and Whitney avenues.
■ Kemper Court between Whitney Avenue and the end of the street.
■ Lintin Road between Radcliffe and Benton roads.
■ McConnell Springs Road between Old Frankfort Pike and Cahill Drive.
■ Pierson Drive between Zorn Court and Eden Road.
■ Pine Street between Spring and Merino streets.
■ Nancy Lane between Rogers Road and Parkside Drive.
■ Cantrill Drive in the Eastland Parkway loop.
■ Rookwood Parkway between Harrogate and Bryan Station roads.
■ Silver Lane between Thurman Drive and Lin Wal Road.
■ Whitney Avenue between Hickory and Ash streets.
Miller Street will be closed between West Second and West Third streets for a few hours Monday and Tuesday for sewer work.
Morgan Avenue will be blocked one lane at a time between Bryan Avenue and Oak Hill Drive from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Jan. 1 for sewer work.
The left lane of South Upper Street will be blocked at West Vine Street on Monday and Tuesday for utility work.
The southbound lane of Transylvania Park will be closed to all but local traffic between Euclid Avenue and East Maxwell Street through Oct. 28 to install new water mains. Additionally, the northbound and southbound lanes will be blocked one lane at a time between Euclid Avenue and Rose Lane from Tuesday through Oct. 28 for utility work.
The sidewalk and parking lane of West Fourth Street will be blocked between Newtown Pike and Henry Street through Tuesday for utility work. The left lane of West Fourth Street also might be blocked when needed.
The right outbound lane of West Main Street will be blocked between North Broadway and Algonquin Street in front of Victorian Square from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Nov. 15 for roof repairs.
East Second Street will be blocked at Eastern Avenue through Friday for utility work.
The eastbound lane of Water Street will be one way, toward Limestone only, between Hernando and Ayres alleys through Oct. 28 for Phoenix Garage maintenance work.
The southbound lane of Bellaire Avenue will be blocked between West Sixth Street and the end of the street through Oct. 28 for utility work.
The southbound lane of Florida Street will be blocked between West Seventh Street and Idaho Avenue through Oct. 31 for utility work.
One lane of Rosemont Garden between Edison and Southport drives will be blocked as needed through Oct. 28 for utility work.
The west side of Venice Park will be blocked between Rosemont Garden and the end of the street through Oct. 31 for utility work.
