$3.75 million settlement reached in death of woman hit by Lexington fire truck

The husband of a woman who was killed by a fire truck in downtown Lexington has reached a settlement with the city and an insurance company for $3.75 million, according to documents received Tuesday by the Herald-Leader. Lauren Woodall Roady, 27, of Washington, D.C., was crossing South Broadway at West Main Street near Triangle Park when she was died on Dec. 8, 2012.
