A University of Kentucky spokesman said more than 85 percent of its payroll had been posted by Monday afternoon, and UK officials expected all of their employees to be paid by Monday night.
On Friday morning, a glitch involving PNC Bank kept 16,000 UK employees from being paid on time.
UK spokesman Jay Blanton said the university had received 23 requests for reimbursement for overdraft fees and the like as of Monday afternoon. The university was "working through the processing" of those requests, which totalled $1,500. UK has committed to reimburse affected employees for all fees incurred as a result of the delay.
The call center that the university opened Friday to respond to employees' concerns about the payroll problem, had received more than 600 calls through Monday, Blanton said.
