Don't forget to voteon Election Day
■ Polls are open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time. Anyone in line by 6 p.m. may vote. A voter may cast a ballot only for candidates in his or her own political party.
■ To find out whether you are registered to vote, where you vote and in which races you may vote, visit the Voter Information Center at the State Board of Elections' website, Elect.ky.gov.

Kentucky Theatre's grand reopening
Nick and Nina Clooney will host the Grand Reopening Celebration of the historic Kentucky Theatre, which recently went through an extensive renovation, with a screening of the 1958 classic film South Pacific. The curtain goes up at 7 p.m.; doors open at 6. Distribution of free tickets for the event started Sunday, and they were gone within hours. (Kentuckytheater.com)
Time to bust out that bathing suit
Lexington Parks & Recreation's four family aquatic centers (Castlewood, Southland, Tates Creek and Woodland) will open at noon. Daily admission is $4 for ages 15 and younger, $5 for ages 16 and older. All remaining pools will open Saturday, May 31. Parks & Rec will celebrate the start of the pool season with its annual Poolapalooza, noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Southland Aquatic Center. Admission is free.
