Hey, remember back in 2010 when Lexington hosted what is the Olympics for horse sports? Well, it might be coming back. The Fédération Equestre Internationale, which governs the international competition of horse sports, is expected to decide whether the 2018 World Equestrian Games will be hosted in Lexington or Bromont, Quebec. Beer Cheese Festival
One of Central Kentucky's favorite snacks gets its own special day at the Beer Cheese Festival, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Winchester. Buy a $5 wristband to sample all the beer cheese you'd like. There also will be live music, and arts and crafts. (Beercheesefestival.com)
