A very stormy period begins across Central and Eastern Kentucky, according to WKYT chief meteorologist Chris Bailey. Rounds of storms could include severe weather and flooding rains to parts of the region over the next few days.
Scattered showers and storms develop from west to east Thursday. Some of the storms across central and western regions could be strong or severe. Winds could reach 35 mph at times.
