A truck driver lost a load of propane tanks on Paris Pike Tuesday night.
Battalion Chief Jeff Nantz said the driver did not realize the 20-pound cylinders had fallen off the truck, and he continued on to Paris.
None of the tanks exploded or leaked, Nantz said, and no one was injured.
Firefighters were able to track down the truck driver so the tanks could be retrieved, Nantz said.

WKYT-TV reported that nearly 30 of the tanks fell from the truck as the driver made the turn from Old Paris Road onto Paris Pike. The station reported that the side door of the truck was open.
