■ Downtown Street Festival. 9 a.m. Arts and crafts, food and beverages, and commercial vendors until 6 p.m.
■ Parade. 2 p.m. From Midland Avenue down Main Street to Broadway.

Thirty-two women from across the state vie to be crowned Miss Kentucky and take one step closer to being Miss America. (Trivia: The only Miss Kentucky to be crowned Miss America was Heather French Henry, in 1999.) Preliminaries are Thursday and Friday ($35); finals are 7 p.m. Saturday ($65).
