A winter storm is causing headaches for holiday travelers across the Midwest.
More than 2,800 flights into, out of or across the U.S. have been canceled, and about 4,800 have been delayed due to a storm system moving through the Midwest on Tuesday night, according to the Associated Press.
In Lexington, Blue Grass Airport spokeswoman Amy Caudill said the airport had 8 to 10 flight delays ranging from 30 to 90 minutes each on Tuesday. Caudill said it was too early to tell how traffic in and out of the city would be affected.
Blue Grass Airport offers non-stop service to Dallas and Chicago, cities that bore the brunt of cancellations and delays.
