$3 rabies vaccinations for your pets
Lexington’s annual low-cost rabies vaccination clinic will be 6 to 9 p.m. at Douglass Park, 726 Georgetown Street. Vaccinations, which typically cost about $20, will be $3. Place your bets and have some fun
It’s Derby weekend, with the 142nd runnings of the Kentucky Oaks on Friday (post time about 5:49 p.m.) and Kentucky Derby on Saturday (about 6:34 p.m.) at Churchill Downs in Louisville. Closer to home, Keeneland hosts two days of festivities, simulcasting and wagering. Gates open both days at 9 a.m., and general admission and parking are free. (Keeneland.com)
